Kaitlyn this is WAY too fucking real lol. I recently quit my day job to try to focus more on writing and I have yet to actually . . . write. Instead it's all replying to tagged reviews on Instagram (ignoring the bad ones *skull emoji*); trying three times to make a promo video before giving up; spiraling about what I'm doing wrong; etc. Thanks for sharing your experience so I know I'm not alone!
Ugh YES I feel you, even more so when you're in the throes of a book release! A fun time for our mental health 🥲 but yeah adjusting to writing FT and figuring out your own system/routines is tough!! I'm clearly still working on it 3 years in lol. Hope you can be nice to yourself these days and you're def not alone ❤️
If I was signing your yearbook I would say, “You’re doing amazing! I love your rambles on writing and your books, too! Can’t wait to read more from you!” 🙂😅 (Did I do the bit right or was it just weird? Lol)
